  1. Hi there. I graduated from WCCCD in the Spring of 08. I still have my uniform and it can go to whoever needs it. I have 4 pairs of size large pants and at least one collared button up white top with patch, size large. Interested...please email me at [email protected] Thanks, Shannon
  2. translate.google.com is a site that you can type up a phrase in English and it will give you a Spanish translation. I used this once but typing my question or what I wanted to say, then copying it in a word document, then copying the translation to put that in the word document too. I then printed this up and gave to the patient. This works if they can read Spanish and speak a little English to answer the questions.
  3. I just posted on the sticky thread about this...please forgive me. I would love to have a brain sheet sent to me. I already posted my email address on the other post, i tried to Private message but it wouldn't work. Thanks in advance. Shannon
  4. Does anyone have a worksheet that they use that would be helpful. Thanks Shannon [email protected]
  5. Thank you so much! They are exactly what I was looking for.
  6. Dear RNs I am a nursing student in my second semester. We are doing clincals now and I see RNs with worksheets that have their patients info on it. I figure RNs here and there have similar organizational sheets to keep them focused. Is anyone willing to share? I would love to take a look at some different set ups to see what other people are doing. Thanks. Please let me know if you are willing to share
  7. We just had a test today. We have 2 more. One lab, one lecture. We have this week and next week to get them in. One is on Tuesday next week and one on Thursday. Just a bit of cramming it all in. But on a lighter note... I applied for a scholarship and I got it. I am applying for the nursing program at my school at the end of this semester. It is fifteen hundred dollars. My school is a community college so the money will go a long way. I am so excited! Shannon :balloons:
  8. I suppose we have it a little easy. We are just now getting into (during lecture) the different bacteria and how they may react to different tests and such. We are basically learning in lecture then applying it in lab. I agree though. It is fun. We have been doing staining and even skipping labs for lecture. I am glad to be doing some real labs.
  9. We also have 2 unknowns. Our teacher gave us a flow chart and we pretty much know exactly what we need to do. Is that how other instructors are? She gets the appropriate media out, we just have to make sure we are not getting the cultures mixed up.
  10. Boy, you sure did get lucky. Good Luck studying with the extra time.
  11. Hi, First time here. I hope to find a few friends. We have tests after each system in my A and P class. There ends up being alot of tests but there is not so much information to learn. Good luck everyone! Shannon
