A&P II: The Summer '05 Anatomy & Physiology Club

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Decided to go ahead and create a new thread...

I am taking A & P II at Valencia Community College in Orlando FL. We start May 12th...

I am an Online ASN Student at Deaconess College of Nursing in St Louis. I have taken a leave of absense for the summer so I will only be focusing on A & P. Guess I am not really a pre-nursing student, hope no one minds.

I am looking forward to sharing experiences!

Cheri

Had my first exam today and got a 98%! It was on digestive system only- 50 questions..

Next Monday I have a test on Cardiovascular ( heart, vessels, blood) and a lab practical for Digestive+ Cardio.

We basically test every week....I am not used to this..but I am NOT complaining:)

I got an A on mine!

WOOOOHOOOO! WTG GIRL!!!!!

I am so happy for you! I took mine today but wont get it back till tomorrow. I dont know how I did, there were some that I wasnt sure on but other than that I dont think I did too bad. We will see tomorrow. I will post it when I find out.

Again Congrats to you Foxfire! Looks like a different professor made all the difference.

Thanks and I am sure you will ace your test also, you always do. So early Congrats to you. Yes my professor is pretty good, but I have way more time to study this time around, with just the two classes. Things are more relaxed this semester. I like the content of A & P II better also. It is more interesting and seems to be more on the Physiology side of things. We are on cardiovascular systems now. Should have another test coming up soon, because we were supposed to test last week and he forgot to bring the test. That puts us a week behind schedule. Good luck to everyone and congrats on all the hard work and good grades.

We tested on the blood, heart and vessels. I had 32 pages of notes and 154 index cards to study. Man this was a very intense test, even Toddy (remember him) said he struggled with the test. I just dont seem to be into it this semester and so now is the time for self discipline to start kicking in. I knew most of the answers and I know I got the bonus question right so I am pretty sure I got an A just not as high of an A as I would have liked. OH well, I can always drop this test score. He said this was the most intense test of them all. I think he should have broken them up into two different test. Ok well I need to get ready for class, will post when I get home and let you know what I ended up getting.

Thanks and congrats to you too Foxfire!

Congratulations to all those who have taken and passed their test! I got my test results back :D and I did better than I thought. I got a 99% woooohoooo

Anyway, I told you all that I would be back after I found out what I got. This was the hardest out of all the exams in this class so I am just glad to get it out of the way. He said that the rest have less content so they are easier to study for.

Good luck to all those that are about to take exams....

Well don't fret, I am sure you did well. I can tell you one thing, I don't miss Kitakis at all. I think he enjoys making those tests as hard as possible. We did not test on the heart yet. We will be doing that on the next exam. We simply tested on the WBC's, RBC's, anomalies of the blood and platelet disorders, immunology and anomalies of the immune system. Let us know what you got today. I am sure you did well.

Congratulations to everyone on their great scores.

I have something to celebrate too. I got a 40/40, 100% on my last test on blood vessels & the lymphatic system. Yeah!!!

And I was so down after I did poorly on my last test. I'm still shooting for that A.
