A&P I - test grades

Published

I got an 89.8 on my first A&P I exam. The teacher doens't round the grades so I am 2/10 of a point from an A on my first exam. Needless to say I'm on the "war path" now for an A on my next exam and on those thereafter. What do most most of you get on your A&P exams? How much harder are the lab exams than the lecture exams? Thanks for your replies. I look forward to hearing from you all as I am a newly registered allnurses.com visitor. Thank you all.

You did great and it will only go uphill from now on

The lab and lecture tests were equally hard in my class.

Congratulations! I think that first A&P test is hard -- very nerve-wracking. Our class, as a whole, didn't do too well. Personally, I got a 94, and I was absolutely thrilled.

My first lab practical is this Friday, and I'm nervous about that.

Good luck to you!

Thanks, StPauliGirl. I am a total psycho about my grades (I stress a lot about them) so the kind words are appreciated.

I got a 83 on mine, I'm used to getting a A or high B but this test was sooo hard. In fact the teacher let us fix our answers for half the points because the class average was sooo low,62%. eekk! so in the end I came out with a 91%. I think so far the lecture tests are harder because you don't know whats going to be there. At least in lab its pure memorization, but there are no suprises.

I got 100%s on my lab and lecture first tests. I think that will not be the case on my second exam though, wish me luck it is Friday!

I am an A student and was very happy about my B in A&P. It was really hard! ;)

Well I just posted on the other thread and then saw this one. I got a B on my first lecture test. The teacher said the class average was a D.

This class is very hard so I am happy with my B and you should be too. Keep up the good work!

I received a 28/30 on my first quiz (anatomical position, language, and microscope), a 102% on my first lecture exam (integumentary and histology), and a 26/30 on my second quiz (a mini lab practical on the axial skeletal and integumentary systems). She gave us our second lecture exam last night as a take-home, and we have a 100 pt lab practical in two weeks (no class next week because of President's Day). I'm doing waaaay better in the class than I expected, but I'm worried that my luck will be running out after this lab practical. Because then we're on the muscles, and I hear they're really impossible...

Congrats!

I'm sure your instructor rounds up at the end. Even if you set your calculator to no decimal places, it would show 90! :angryfire

Anyway, that's a good grade. Keep trying harder and harder, and you'll pull an A out of this class.

Good luck!!!!

I got 104 on my first Anatomy lecture exam last Wednesday. Hopefully, I did well in the lab. I took it last week. Tonight, I will know what I got.
