A&P I - test grades

Published

I got an 89.8 on my first A&P I exam. The teacher doens't round the grades so I am 2/10 of a point from an A on my first exam. Needless to say I'm on the "war path" now for an A on my next exam and on those thereafter. What do most most of you get on your A&P exams? How much harder are the lab exams than the lecture exams? Thanks for your replies. I look forward to hearing from you all as I am a newly registered allnurses.com visitor. Thank you all.

I got a 83 on mine, I'm used to getting a A or high B but this test was sooo hard. In fact the teacher let us fix our answers for half the points because the class average was sooo low,62%. eekk! so in the end I came out with a 91%. I think so far the lecture tests are harder because you don't know whats going to be there. At least in lab its pure memorization, but there are no suprises.

I got an 83 also. My teacher always give us a chance to earn an extra 5 points so basically I got an 88 after doing test corrections.

congrats everyone on their super grades! in our program we have a separate anatomy class, and physio next semester. tx seems to have different rules...they abandoned the combo anat/physio classes.

so here's what i made on my 1st lab practical...101%...woohoo!!! just got my grade today for our 1st lec. exam...96%...whew!!! i was really nervous!

anyway, our professor insisted that we not get too comfortable if our grades were good, b/c now we needed to study harder than ever...

i'm putting in 30-40 hours a week studying, and showing up to open lab on sundays...i hope it's enough!

good luck all!

study hard!

not all tx schools are that way. i took 2 semesters of the mixed version. we mainly learned physo in lecture, and mostly anatomy in lab.

i made a's in both. good luck to everyone!
