I'm so relieved this class is almost over! All I have left to take is my final (50 questions) and I figured out that even if I get a D on my final, I'll still get an A in the class. woot woot!

I can't believe it's over! It seems like I did nothing but study for the entire quarter and especially the last month. But, Praise the Lord, it paid off in the end and I sqeaked out the 4.0 I was killing myself for with my lab and lecture finals YIPPPEEE!
I took my final on Wed. and then went home and beat myself up for all of the things I thought I did wrong. I got myself completely depressed thinking I got a 3.8...what the heck is wrong with me? What if I did get a 3.8? That would still be a terrific grade for such a hard class.
On Thursday I went back to school to get my grade from my teacher, who's awesome BTW, hard, but I learned so much. When I told her that I had already mourned the loss of my 4.0 she looked at me like I was nuts, showed me my scantron and then my grade for the class. I hugged her and thanked her, but I swear it was a little bit of a hollow victory. What is wrong with me? Instead of being completely happy I let myself sink so low the day before that I only felt OK about it when it turned out differently.
Well, I hope that I do as well in AP2, but I have GOT to learn how to keep a healthier perspective. I've slept a lot the last two days, and that feels really good. I didn't realize how wiped out I was. I plan on sleeping a lot more too
I am so grateful for this site, because while I don't say much, I lurk often and always feel like we are all in this together. I share all of your victories and I feel for you when you are struggling.

LOL,we aren't having a comprehensive final, but we are being tested on muscles and nervous system material. I have an A, and I could miss up to 25 of the 105 questions to keep my A.So I have to study a little bit more than you do.
Funny thing is, Frodo is still standing beside my Christmas tree ... well .. after tonight I can concentrate more on getting a few things done around the house. He should really be in the kitchen with me, holding my hand, massaging my temples, saying, "There, there, darling, it will be ok!" LOL
I am just flipping through my text to see where my trouble spots are. I can't believe this exam is tonight. Ah well ... at the very least I know enough to at least pass .. what an attitude that is!

I had the exam! It was really difficult and I haven't a clue how I did .. all I know is that I passed. I was guessing a lot and didn't do great on the long answers. Bleah.
BUT --- dh made me go check my lab exam mark afterwards. Guess what -- I got 100%!!! I couldn't believe the range of marks (from 12%) and couldn't believe I got a perfect score! I should be completely happy but I can't quite get tonight's disaster out of my head yet! Ah well. Oh yeah, and I feel terrible because my study buddies did not do well on the lab exam and I hope they will let me support them still, kwim? One of them did find out what I got because she happened along at the same time as I was looking and kind of pressed me .. but I wasn't going to tell anyone. Shoot me! I'm a big braggin' blabbermouth!! Tweet tweet
Dd and I went to see Narnia at 10:00 tonight! Good movie .. it strayed from the book a little but not so much as to destroy it and I know changes are necessary when putting it to the big screen. It was a nice reward for a hard test!
