rotfl .. you guys are great! I just can't get the skeleton in a thong image out of my head!! OR the thought of Angel thinking about chicken for lunch ........... lolI didn't have fun like this in a long time, and of all places it was on allnurses.com!!!!?????
Anyway, I have been sitting here for a large part of the afternoon and have turned only one page of my text ... just not focusing too well and allowing myself to be distracted. I'm trying to get through all the bones and onto the joints. Hmmm maybe time to get going on my lab manual or something .. as that way I am doing exercises and "participating" in my studying.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

I had a great weekend, and I was studying, too. Fredericks of Hollywood has some pretty good novelty thongs for guys, I am sure we would find something cute for lil'man there!
Get it together girl, all that's on your brain are naked skeletons! Get back to studying :Melody: You've got to wash that naked skeleton right out of your hair !
I am just being super silly, and need to gt my butt back to studying also.....
Take care

Hey, did you say "butt"? What are you trying to do to me??
Actually, I took some flashcards to church this a.m. ... I did take them out but was a little too paranoid to really use them .. thought someone might see. I studied them a bit when dh went into the store to get groceries.
I think I am just going to have to ditch the computer tonight and write out my notes .. obviously I cannot focus. LOL Thanks for the pep talk!!
ok, I need some help, if anyone has it.Our first practical is this Tuesday. OMG and I still can't remember the tissues. I mean, I can identify them fine, but the part that is killing me is remembering where each tissue is located.
Does anyone have any helpful hints?
Thanks a bunch
I'm sorry, but I don't have any helpful hints for that one. I've been using acronyms for things like the epidermal layers, carpal bones and such. But, for the tissue locations...it's memorization, memorization, memorization! Does your lab manual have any photos of the tissues and their locations in it? Mine has micrographs of the tissues with drawings of their locations next to them, so that's how I tried to memorize/picture them in my head.
Good luck on your test!! :flowersfo
Angel
I just made a quiz for myself, and studied that. I have it uploaded at:
Maybe it can help you too! I studied it over and over again! Good luck!!!!
