Woo hoo!! Congratulations!! You go, girl!
Are you taking a 8 or 10 week course. My class is for 15 weeks, so we meet twice a week. Good luck to you, I spent all weekend studying. 3 hours today at the library by myself, and it was great didn't have to hear MOM a hundred time.

Ok I checked my book and I said the wrong edition we have the 8th edition book and 2nd edition lab manual I believe. Actually my course is 14 weeks which is the whole semester for us and I guess we have so much work because we meet 3 days a week. My first lab quiz I sucked with a 4.5/10 the second one I just found out I got 9/10 and the third I get back next week I think I got a 7/10 I confused a couple of tissues. I have my first A&P exam on friday. :uhoh3: He said to use our notes to study so I am hoping that I do well. I am so overwhelmed for our next lab the axial skeleton we will be tested on the thigh bone and on the skull! eek so many holes to memorize! :o

WooHoo - great job!

Tiffy, don't sweat it, you'll do ok, I'm sure. :) I was kind-of disgusted with myself because we had a quiz on genetics today and I only got an 85.5%. I was frustrated because I fealt really comfortable with the chapter and expected to do better. Oh well - will work on studying a bit more before the next one!

AWESOME JOB!!! I'm gonna find out what I got on my first exam (we took it last Friday) tommorow. Fingers crossed!! ;)

So .. I was in the worst mood to do tissues today in lab. I felt like just putting my head down on the table and having a nice, long sleep!! Now everything -- I mean like the t.v., my kids' stuffed toys, people's shirts -- I look at I'm trying to figure out what tissue it is. Sad thing is, I feel VERY lost at the moment. I even did the lab exercises before class -- which was a considerable amount of time but obviously not a lot of knowledge transferred there. I know I won't feel so lost once I just breathe a bit and take a bit more time to study it. It just seemed like so much info. in the lab and so many people and .. I just have been having a slight meltdown over the past day.

I have a stupid question .. should we start a new thread for October like I originally suggested or .. should we just make a new one and ask it to be a sticky or ask to make one of the exisiting ones a sticky? It seems a bit ridiculous to have so many threads going on this and I'm sorry I contributed to the problem!! How many people are taking this two terms? I wll be in A&P until April 2006.

Looking for input .. and a nice tall glass of water and some tylenol ...... and a good tissue-free sleep for the night.

P.S. I have to say I really like my professor and lab instructor, though! (even if I'm beyond help!)

If you start a new one, people will be posting to all three. lol

Tissues....LOL! I would see rain drops on the window and say, "That looks like......", or clouds, "That looks like......"! Too funny!

Good luck to you all, I know you can do it!!!!

I know, that's what I'm thinking ...... how do I get a sticky for this one?

I saved a whole bunch of histology pics in a folder on my computer to sort through later. Some from your site! I seriously was going buggy today .. just complete system overload. I wish I could quit seeing cells in everything LOL. I did take some pics in lab but just wasn't into it.

TODAY IS DOOMS DAY J/K :rotfl: OK SO I HAVE MY FIRST EXAM TODAY I STUDIED SOME LAST NIGHT AND WILL STUDY SOME MORE BEFORE CLASS I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE PSYCHOLOGY BEFORE A&P BECAUSE IT'S LIKE I HAVE TO SWITCH MY MIND FRAME FROM ONE CLASS TO THE NEXT ANYWAY I HOPE I DO WELL ON THE EXAM WILL PROBABLY NOT FIND OUT UNTIL MONDAY. Oh boy, I am just getting ready to start Histology.

My A&PI class ends in December and then I will be starting A&P II right away. I will also be taking Micro next semester, so, as if I'm not enough of a basket-case now, I will be when I'm done. :rotfl:

I am thinking that just keeping one thread sounds good to me too. ;)

I hope the tissues get easier for you - and I really hope that I can figure them out too. :D

Take a break, go see a movie or something. Then attack the tissues once you've been recharged.
