If your not a 'smart' person, then I would not recommend taking both sciences because both requires an overwhelming amount of time to study. I'm taking A&P1 and it is so time consuming. I would suggest taking a Science with a soft science like sociology. If you know that you can handle both then go for it if not, then don't play yourself by rushing to meet an admission deadline.

together..not me..nope..no way. And I am very good in my sciences. I just know I'd tank my grades doing both at once.

nope...i took ap2(A-), micro(B+), anthropology(A), ancient lit(A), and prealgebra(B) together. not hard just busy only reason i got an B+ instead of an A- in micro was because I rarely studied for more than two hours per exam. With math i SERIOUSLY procrastinated.
i actually liked taking ap2 with micro...alot of the same disease processes at the same time :)
btw i LOVE your name!
good job!!!

AP1 was a prereq for Micro in my school- but I took AP2 and Micro together and got As in both. (with just under a 100 average in micro).. it's doable if you manage your studying well.

I did it! I took Micro and A&P 1 during the summer session (6weeks) at 2 different schools at the same time...omg what was I thinking but I did it and came out with B's. I totally did not dedicate myself to micro lecture but the lab is what saved me cause I was exceptional at that. A&P i was getting getting a A and i ha to do a make up exam and received a 75 and the professor said that he cannot believe that i passed the test cause he made it very hard, setting my up to fail! I was very upset. Came out with a B+ cause of that
The only reason y i did it is cause i know the school that I was doing the micro at was much easier to pass than the school that I was doing the A&P at. A&p in the morning an MIcro in eve
I say all this to say that it is very doiable but you have to know what you are capable of, everyone is different.

I am currently taking A&P 2 and Micro along with Fundamentals of Human Nutrition. I find that a lot of the topics being studied in each course coincide with each other. I would recommend taking all three together. It is a lot of work so I would say just make sure you have enough time to dedicate to each class.

If you are able to dedicate the necessary study time to each class, you shouldn't have a problem. It's totally doable! I may be a bit biased since my bachelor's is in Biology, but unless science courses are particularly challenging for you, I don't think taking A&P I and Micro in the same semester is a bad thing.
