Who's waiting on acceptance letters?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I'm supposed to hear about getting into the program or not by the beginning or March. Who else is waiting on their acceptance letter to get into their nursing program?

I am only taking a couple of pre-req's that I need while I am waiting. I am taking Sociology, Psychology, and Biology (since I haven't taken it since High School and that was almost 8 years ago!)

Just wanted to connect with some other people who are waiting. :)

Another waiter here:devil:

I just mailed my application last week! OMG I have to wait until mid-May! Last night I dreamed that I got the letter early and it said "We don't usually send out acceptance letters until May, but we were so impressed with your application, that we are inviting into our program early."....It's official...I've LOST MY MIND.

I am waiting also, this will be my second time applying to nursing school. So keep me in your prayers. I wont know anything until June.

I am also waiting for "the letter." I am slowly going out of my mind. Although we are not supposed to get ours until sometime in April, I check my mail every single day. My mailman is starting to fear me. I have so far resisted the urge to call the nursing dept and ask for an exact date, but do not know how much longer I can restrain myself. I have my schools website memorized, all of the allnurses threads dealing with Macomb Community College memorized, and have also been contemplating trying to bribe someone in admissions to notify me as soon as they know! LOL. I thought I was a rational human being until I applied to nursing school! The wait is driving me crazy!!!! Good luck to all of us still waiting!

I am still waiting for my NLN scores and it has been 2 weeks today. I need to call them on Monday. I will check with the school first to see if they received our scores yet. Maybe the school sent the tests in late. It was my understanding that they would send them in to be graded that Monday, but who knows?! lol

I turn in my application next week and our information packet says letters will be sent on or before May 30th. I am a nervous wreck already so I can already see myself waiting for the mailman at my mailbox. Whishing everyone luck!

The letters should come out at the end of March. I am tired of waiting!!!

I havent sent in my app yet I still have to take the entrance test but I will be sending it soon and waiting on my reply. Good luck to everyone and I hope ya'll get in.

I'm STILL waiting!!

I took my NLN test in November.

I had to have all of my paperwork submitted by January 2

Now I wait - I was told late March/early April we should receive a letter.

Just tired of waiting!!! I want to know what the deal is already and just PRAYING that the letter I get is an acceptance letter!

I'm still waiting but heard from a friend in admissions that NHTI letters went out Friday. We should have them one way or another this week! She wouldn't tell me if mine was yay or nay.

Oh yeah...I'm waiting. Letters were supposed to be sent out mid-March. However, there's a newbie director of the program at the CC I've applied at...apparently, she's so busy the letters are not out yet. I'm on pins and needles (along with many others I'm told)...get to the mailbox each day like my life depended upon it. LOL My biggest concern? I have all my pre-reqs & generals done and am not certain what I'll do with myself next fall without entrance into the program. Plus, I'm old...and not getting any younger waiting! LOL Advice from a grandma? Keep your chin up and hang in with the rest of us! We can all row the boat together!!

Letters are supposed to be sent out this month (March). Last week they said they would sent out the last day of the month. Wonder if they will meet that deadline.

The administration has lost records, given different answers to different people about the admissions process - i.e. points given for certain items, etc.. Don't have a lot of faith in the administration although the teachers are great and the program has a reputation for turning out good nurses. At least 150 applicants for 35 places.

If we don't get in, my classmates and I will certainly ask for our point breakdown to make sure we were awarded what we should have been to double-check on the administration part.
