I'm supposed to hear about getting into the program or not by the beginning or March. Who else is waiting on their acceptance letter to get into their nursing program?
I am only taking a couple of pre-req's that I need while I am waiting. I am taking Sociology, Psychology, and Biology (since I haven't taken it since High School and that was almost 8 years ago!)
Just wanted to connect with some other people who are waiting. :)
I'm waiting to find out and I am dying to know! I sent my application in December and the deadline to have the packet in was Feb.1! I will find out in March!:uhoh21:
My packet is now complete and I will be with the group that gets review when the admission team meets in March. So I will no by no later than March 30th. Until then I'm going to feel like this -- .
I took the NLN this past saturday and my scores will determine if I get an interview or not. Ive been having nightmares that my scores came back and I failed Im not kidding. I only applied to one school this is soooooooooo nerve wracking. Well Im going to a concert tonight (Justin Timberlake woohoo) and this will definately take my mind off it, as i'll probably be the only 26yr old there amoung the teenie-boppers screaming my head off!
I too am playing the waiting game!! Our deadline is March 2nd, so I won't know anything until the end of April. My school only accepts 40, and it seems that everyone I talk to is applying. In talking with the admin who accepts the applications, she said that I have an excellent chance, but who knows if that is what she tells everyone, or not?!?! Anyway, I will be anxiously waiting for that certified letter!!

I did the same thing, I was dreaming about it, or rather, having nightmares. I just couldn't get my mind off of those scores! (or let anyone around me forget about it either since that seemed to be all I thought or talked about)!! Have fun going to see Justin Timberlake, hopefully that takes your mind off your scores, at least for the night!

mystiqx did you get your scores back yet? I was just chatting with some other classmates that wrote their NLN the same day we did and they already got their scores in the mail. I haven't even checked my mail (so busy and the mailbox seems so much farther from my house after class...all I wanna do is drop my backpack, kick off my shoes and cuddle with family)
You're so lucky you saw JT! (he's so hot lol) I wanted to seem him when he was out here in Vegas but couldn't afford it....my CNA classes have taken a big chunk out of my pocket. You'll do fine though...don't worry!

No, no scores yet, checked the mailbox as soon as i walked into my building, your classmates are in Vegas and got their scores already???? I live in NYC where the NLN organization is and i havent gotten mine! Weird. maybe they have special scoring locations or something. oh jeez now im even more paranoid maybe they sent out all the high scores first. ack! this is terrible!!!!
JT show was unbelieveable, i spent a mint on my ticket, but i didn't care, i was determined to see him, im hoping for a nice tax return cause god knows my pockets are crying. Will keep you posted with the scores.
Guess what you guys I got in a school. The acceptance letter came in on Saturday. They will send me a letter when I start in a week according to the acceptance leter. Now I know I can official resign from my job soon. lol lol lol:lol2:
