Today was my first day of micro. Our instructor asked the class "what is the name of the bacteria that is the number one cause of UTI's?"
A student answered Ebola.
Share your funnies from class.

I'm sorry if my use of conservative offended anyone. I rather meant it as a general way of thinking rather than having a religious or political connotation. I also didn't mean it in a derogatory way, I apologize if it reads that way.
I'm laughing at the responses to the word conservative. I understood what you meant in your usage of the word. You didn't mean politically, socially, or religiously conservative, you used the word to describe a person's view on sex as a result of being uninformed or misinformed regarding the mechanics.

Funny how if I used liberal in the same way, connoting ignorance and backwardness, I doubt the leftists would find it so amusing.

Get a clue man. Not sure if you are unable to comprehend what has been written, or simply didn't bother to read the posts before responding to them.
BTW if you think there are any "leftists" who post here then you have no idea what the term means.

She meant conservative as an adjective, not a noun.
adjective 1 .disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
2.cautiously moderate or purposefully low:a conservative estimate.
3.traditional in style or manner; avoiding novelty or showiness:conservative suit.
I'm not stupid, I understand parts of speech.
I concede since you refuse to understand my point. Or maybe I'm not the one who can't comprehend what she reads. Moving on....

OK....this is a light hearted thread that was to talk about the silly things one hears in class or in the workplace.
If you wish to discuss political positions/opinions please start another thread. Further off topic posts will be removed.
