Micro is a very fun class! Just make a study schedule and stick to it. It helped me to make myself powerpoints of each chapter. Study groups work very well also.

Me too. 8 weeks online along with an honors contract for it and eastern civilization. It's the last class I need for my co reqs (already finished a year of nursing school) and the eastern civ is for my bachelor's bridge. It's also online. Only go to campus once a week. Woo hoo!

Me..... I am I have 16 week session. I don't know if I could handle 8.
I'm just the opposite. I took it last summer of 8 weeks. I can't imagine having 16 weeks of that!
In an 8 week session, you don't have time to forget the stuff from the first week. It stays more current in your mind and helps on the final. At least it did in my 5 credit hour chem class that I took over a summer session.

I am taking Micro in a 4 week session. I am a little nervous that it might be a lot to learn in such a short time. I am also taking A@P2 directly after for another 4 week session which is scaring me more.

Wow, 4 weeks for micro is very short! I did it on 8 weeks, once a week for lecture and once a weeks for lab. It was a TON of info. Most of the class was not doing good at all including me and I managed to pass with a B. 16 weeks would've been too long for me so I think 8 weeks was just enough.
I did both A&P 2 with micro during the same 8 weeks. It was a lot of information! But doable! I only work 2 nights a week so that helped. Had an 1.5 hr commute to school so I would listen to recorded lectures instead of music while driving.

I am taking Micro this summer in a ten week course along with stats in summer 1. Glad to hear some people enjoy it! I am more worried about this course than I was about any of my other science classes. Good luck everyone!

I took Micro during the summer of 2011 and I am glad I did. I couldn't not imagine doing it for a full 15 week semester. I took it after A&P 1 so not sure if that's why I found it easier. Good luck :)
