Anyone else up late studying for finals?

I'm usually up late studying every night, except I don't have a class right now. (I finished my 8 week Music Appreciation class early.)
Right now, I usually go to bed around 12 AM because I'm up studying for my upcoming Algebra class, or just hanging out on AllNurses.com.
(Oh, and make sure you get some rest before your other finals. Your brain needs it.) :)

I used to, but got into the habit and cannot stay away....LOL

I get up at 5 each morning though and hit the books then.

Just curious what is an 809 out of 1000? Is that like a C?

Please clarify?

My Hesi got canceled for Tomm. because of the impending snow storm tonite. That means I have an extra day to study for Peds final and I get to sleep in tommorow ---Yeh!!!!How's that for apples?

And I got six points added on to my last test because of teacher ingenuity and I just need a 77 to pass the class!!!! Yeh!!!!!! Nurses Rock!!HB06

:chuckle Jess, 12 AM is going to bed early for me. I've always been a night owl, but when my hubby worked late evenings, I stayed up until he got home. (Even when I worked, I couldn't go to sleep until I knew he was home safely. I worry too much.) lol

When I have a class going on, I'm usually crawling in bed around 2-3 AM. I get up at 6 AM, get the kiddos off to school, and study more. Yes, when I have the extra late nights like that, I usually take about an hour nap. :)

I feel some late nights coming on come next weekend when my Algebra class starts. I'm working problems in the book, and they're killing me.

I hope the CDs help more b/c the book assumes you know so much already. I took OUCH!!!!!!!!

Ohmigosh... I totally thought I could handle this, but I am about to seriously breakdown!!! I have a Microbiology paper due tomorrow, an A&P II LECTURE and LAB test due Sunday, and 4 Psychology Essay questions due Sunday. Not only that, I have 5 FINALS to take between Monday and Tuesday. Yes, I said 5 FINALS... my A&P II lecture and lab finals are separate!! Can you believe that??? I will never take two science classes at the same time again!! I'm trying to be positive, but these grades will determine if I start nursing school in January, or next fall. This is sooooo important to me because my husband is graduating with his bachelor's in 2007 (Business Admin), and I would like to have an accomplishment too seeing as though we started around the same time!! Plus... we would like to have a family, and I want to be finished having children by my 30th birthday!!!

There is a difference between Business Admin. and NURSING, it's too different worlds, Nursing is HARDER. Don't compete with your husband....do everything at your pace and what is comfortable for you. You don't need to have children by 30, you can wait beyond that. I had my youngest at 38 and everything went absolutely fine. Take it easy, pace yourself. You will reach your goals. Hang in there

You putting too much pressure on yourself. Just relax and think about what you doing. I am 35 years old now. When I started college in my early 20's, I was taking 4 to 5 classes at the same time, I passed them, but not with flying colors. Rightnow, I am back in school, taking 2 classes, I am getting A's in both. I am planning to start a nursing program in the fall of 2006. When you apply to a nursing school, first thing they look at is you GPA. When you get mostly C's, you are competing with majority of folks, which are average. When you get A's, you are a minority, meaning, you chances of getting into a program is better. Think what is more important, getting into a reputable program or competing with your husband?

For one thing, stress is not good for the body, it breakdown the immune system. So why put yourself to this kind of stress?

Next semester, I am only going to take Anatomy and Physiology 2 and Lifespan Psychology.

DONE DONE AND DONE!!! I finished lecture the week before Thanksgiving...ended up with an 81...which is a C in our program. I made a B in management...and an A in clinical. Just took Hesi this morning, our program requires an 85 to graduate out of two tries. I made an 86.17...close I know, but who cares, I PASSED!
