University of Southern Indiana http://www.usi.edu has a wonderful totally online program with many specialties for MSN, and is much, much less expensive than many others. I encourage you to check it out. They are very good with answering any questions that you may have. I will be starting there Spring 2010, but many who work with me have used them, and many more are currently students, and I hear nothing but excellent things about them.

I'm working on my BSN from Kaplan University right now and already plan to continue with my MSN. I LOVE Kaplan. Its very interactive and accessible. I work 5 12's a week and am very active outside my home as well (married with 3 kids, too).

I don't want to give you the impression that it is easy. I devote A LOT of time to school. I work very hard to maintain my 4.0 and 2 classes each term, but I really love my program at Kaplan. I encourage you to check them out at kaplan.edu

Check out Excelsior College and University of Massachusetts, Amherst and Dartmouth campuses.

Hello,

Could anyone help me with more info about the online nursing programs? I would like to know the cost per credit hour. A lot of BSN and MSN programs but how much does really cost to attend an online university?

Thanks.:nurse:

They're all different. You're better off finding a program you like and checking the cost, vs. the other way around. Good luck.

I would agree that Kaplan is a good school, thing is they are expensive (I believe). I called them yesterday to check out the same. This is what I was told:

$350/crdt-63 credits for the MSN; Total $22K+. Walden on the other hand is $435/crdt, approx. 41 credits for the MSN program; Total=$17835 (includes books and fees (waldenu.edu). They have a special that if you apply and they receive all they need by June 22, you'll get a 20% discount. Also Phoenix University, theirs is $550/crdt, 42 credits to complete the program I asked about.
