I had an OB/GYN named "Dr. Richard Pees" at Hershey Med Center - he went by Dick, though. Why he chose the nickname he did with that last name, I don't understand...also, maybe he should have been a urologist.

    Let's see...where to start...

    Dr Smiley (Dentist)
Dr Payne and Dr Panik (Dentists in a joint practice)
Dr Slaughter (Not sure of his area of practice, but with a name like that, does it matter??)
Dr Heine (Surgeon, not a Proctologist)
Dr Butts (Also a Surgeon, but he needs to go into Proctology with Dr Heine)
Dr Ruth (Internal Medicine, but you should hear the jokes he gets)
    Nurse Wise

As for patient names, there are just too many funny ones to name but a couple of my permanent favorites are Harry Peters and Harley Wrigglesworth. (The second name just cracks me up for some reason!) They've both been dead for years so I feel safe in naming those.

The x-ray department has a Radiologist come in who's name is Richard and his last name is Head. He prefers to be called Dick. No joke, I have seen his preliminaries come across my fax.

We have a Dr.Nutting in our area and you guessed it he is a urologist. We also have a Dr.McCracken who is a internal med doc. We also have a Dr.Raper who is a internal med doc. Funny to hear Dr.Raper paged overhead. We had a secretary who used to say "Raper is on the phone for whoever paged." We always had to remind her to use Dr. in front of his name so it didn't sound so bad. We also have on our floor now a Dr.Killu (Pronounced Ki-Lou). We have had many famlies comment on his name.

Our anesthesiologist is Dr. Payne. He's probably sick of hearing jokes on that one.
