We have a resident Dr. Dumm....and Dr.Tickle.....an OB-GYN Dr. Bush....Allergist Dr. Thrush....We also had a resident Dr. Yonker...which we got a kick out of because here we call our Yankauer's ...Yonker's....Surgeon Dr. Lim....and....drum roll please....Dr. Nutt psychiatrist.....haha.....swear it's true!!!

We have a doctor in Obs and Gynae from Czechoslovakia called Svab,pronounced as' swab!'
working in london, most hospitals are staffed by a very diverse multi-ethnic mix of nurses from far-off lands. unfortunately (for them) nurses' names can cause amusement for hospital staff.
i remember once working with a nurse called candida and on another occasion a nurse called malena. i was just hoping that during handover there were no patients with thrush and bloody stools... that would have been too much...
very sweet girls though.
I had an OB/GYN named "Dr. Richard Pees" at Hershey Med Center - he went by Dick, though. Why he chose the nickname he did with that last name, I don't understand...also, maybe he should have been a urologist. ?
