to those who were interviewed by alpine health last Monday, did you have your results already?

I'm supposed to have my results today, but no email yet :( Has anyone tried having their alpine health results sent later?

Asked them for an August slot during the interview. No offer sent yet... How about you?

hi! i have not received any offer letter nor any response from them. you see, i emailed them last monday afternoon to ask for my result. But until now, no feedback from them. I am worried I didn't pass.

Do you think the results got delayed? the interviewer said results would be out last Monday supposedly. I'm really worried. Goodluck to us!

Well i hope they are just experiencing delays due to the high influx of queries. :)

Also waiting for AAON to grant my request to change my slot from june to august...

IHNA called me up this afternoon asking me if I would like to consider an offer of place. Too bad for them, I got an offer from ETEA.

They never accepted my application in the first place, they claimed I didn't have enough hospital experience and and for that I wasn't able to secure a place. Ironically, a friend with hardly no hospital experience at all got in on an earlier intake.

Getting someone who's been rejected once only to fill in the number of intakes just shows how desperate these schools are when it comes to cashing in on their students. IHNA shame on you!

@jb_101

Would you like to team up for this? :)

I'm done with the medicals and that was forwarded to the embassy last April 06.

No visa yet.

I'm doing the AFP Police Check now as instructed and other instructions I just received via email.

I think I need to have a new NBI clearance since I submitted the original to VIA/embassy and this is a requirement for the first day.

did you received your visa already?

the embassy gave back my nbi clearance:)

hi guys,

I posted a questions regarding what is the best thing to do for our current situation as this was a life changing decision for us (if ur curious its in p196), thank you very much for those who answered and gave their insight. it looks dim and uncertain but I realized I really have no choice but close my eyes and to push thru with this.

for the benefit of those who might be going our way too, Il explain what we have done and post some questions,

the gf is the nurse w 3 years experience plus a masteral, we are both young and we have a 1 year old but we are not yet married. we have applied for unisa thru idp, we chose unisa altho it has a longer program of 18 weeks and more expensive than the iron program, we believe it is the faster way to go since you do not need an ahpra registration to go on with it wc I heard can take a while sometimes. last march we applied and got the conditional offer letter last april 8, the only condition was they need to have idp see the original prc cert w scores so they can certify it, wc as of this writing we have already done and our agent has already sent to unisa. they also said it wouldn't take long for us to receive the unconditional offer.

now we asked our agent thru mail that since we are for October intake, when would be the best time to pay the hefty tuition fee since its like 6 moths away and your not allowed to apply for a visa not less than 4 mos before ur departure date? the tf is an aweful lot of money wc as of the moment I don't have all of it yet and i would wana maximize its use for my business but not pay too late that we may lose the slot for the arntp! when we asked our agent who has been always accomodating, I understand it was tru email so she has to comply w company rules that her answer was a straight asap so as to guarantee the slot. what do you guys think? or for those who has done it w unisa?

second issue is, since arntp does not require ahpra registration, we asked our agent if its ok that since we have a few months left before October, would it be smart if we start with the application for registration while we are still here as to maximize the time frame? her suggestion was no, she said that it is not the usual practice and that may interfere with the proper flow of the program, she even said that we wouldn't have a problem registering after the program as the school actually assist but what we can do is that we start as soon as the gf starts with the program. my concern tho that as far as what I have read, registration is not as simple as they are making it sound so I just wana know whats the best thing to do?

the general plan was like this, although we are not yet married, we are hinging on the idea that my gf can bring me with her as a dependent since being married is not such a big deal to them as to us, wc in turn allows me to work 40 hrs a week wc hopefully keeps us afloat while shes doing arntp, I know for a fact that my friends in Sydney are with a student visa but are able to make a good living with their spouses working as dependent so im hoping that will be the same for us just so we can get thru with her program, hopefully this is a good plan!

the admins and the ones that have done arntp, please give us your advise and if there is something wrong with what I am doing or assuming, feel free to say so.. this will also help a lot of those who is about to embark on this journey.. or should I say.. risk!

please tell us about your experience in adelaide, how is it there? the registration process? was it really hard to get a job?

thank you in advance!

I know that there is a short supply of people sharing when everything has been done.. but I pledge that I will be back and say our story as a way to help others.. that's a promise!

Hello councilor28... I am also for the ARNTP October 2013 intake just like your gf.. I have received my COE, but had to renew my passport so I am still waiting for it prior to VISA application.. I am to travel with my husband as well, but we have no child yet. He's also a nurse but we wouldn't take the course at the same time for it would cost us a lot... and he's still about to take his IELTS. When he has completed all the requirements, he would aim for the April 2014 ARNTP intake. I hope we couples could help each other out :)

I was also advised to apply for AHPRA registration while the course is ongoing, but still having hesitations as to whether submit my docs to AHPRA as early as now, or do it in Australia..have you gathered enough info on this? If we are to do it in Australia, do we need to have all our docs certified here or would they only accept Australian certified copies since the application will be lodged there? Thanks.

My mother and her partner by the way are residents of Tasmania that's why she pushed and pushed me to pursue my profession there...I know it wouldn't be easy.. nothing in this life is anyway ;) But I believe good things happen to good people.. So let's stay optimistic :) :)

Hello chelseaxyrene.. couldn't PM you. You messaged me regarding UNISA 2 months ago telling me that your friend applied for AHPRA registration while doing the ARNTP, sorry I wasn't able to log in for quite some time. Anyway thank you so much.. Would you know how long it took him / her to be registered after the course? Is it ok if I communicate with him / her? If you could send me contact details please I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much... :)

Anybody here who has finished the ARNTP or is taking it now? Hope you could help us with our queries regarding the AHPRA registration:

1. Lodge here in the Phils or do it there?

2. Have all docs certified here or must it be done there if I am to lodge my application there?

And what are the immunizations required by UNISA? TIA ;)

Hi there,

I would like to ask how long does it take for Global Health in Australia to forward to the Australian Embassy in the Philippines the result of their assessment? The clinic where I had my medical exam forwarded my results to the embassy last April 5. According to my case officer, my medical exam results were forwarded to Global Health in Australia. I was wondering if there is anyone here who had the same situation as mine? I would really appreciate your thoughts on this.
