Hi everyone! This thread is really informative. I have a couple of questions in mind, hope to hear any input.. 1.) would there be conflict if one applied for PR ( anmac assessment stage etc) and an employer just happened to willingly sponsor you a 457 visa? 2.) is there a difference in lodging a 457 visa in another country (Philippines) as compared to lodging it in australia? Is the application duration just the same? 3.) what's the usual application timeframe of a PR visa (independent) and 457 visa from lodgement to approval? Thank you so much everyone! :)

Hi! I'm posting for a friend.. He lodged his visa last may 3. Up to this moment, he still hasn't received his notice for medical exam. It's already a week since it was lodged. Anyone else had the same experience?

hi! i have not received any offer letter nor any response from them. you see, i emailed them last monday afternoon to ask for my result. But until now, no feedback from them. I am worried I didn't pass. Do you think the results got delayed? the interviewer said results would be out last Monday supposedly. I'm really worried. Goodluck to us!

Hi! I had my medical exam last April 4. When would i possibly receive a feedback that my medical clearance documentation were successfully received by the embassy? Am I supposed to make a follow up through via centre? Or should i wait a little more for their feedback? THank you!
