Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!

The link doesn't open. Gives error page.. I already emailed to them about it. But didnt get respond. I am a male applicants so it says selective service so I am thinking it may related selective service (military) etc. my current college asked it to me when I apply financial aid to proof of selective service. Let's see :) maybe they accepted me and checking it lol ;) thinking poz it is good :)

I'm a 3.4

I am in asn too first semester. My A.S. degree actually from other country. And 3.18 but the 56 credit for pre-required courses for the program taken in USA and gpa 3.78..

Can't wait to see result ..

I mean why they would need my selective service info, if they didnt accept me lol also I know I am not register to selective service and its always come out when schools etc check it.

To anyone that has applied to NYU, please call admissions and make sure they have received all your documents. I sent mine in over a month ago, in one package and they ended up losing my transcripts that I had to pay to order and pay to send out! I'm very disappointed. So just double check!!

Everything but my transcripts were checked.. I called twice. On hold for half an hour for them to tell me they don't know what could have happened.

I emailed to financial aid and asked why they want me to proof selective service documents. Yesterday they called me cos want me to send them some documents. but i didnt ask them why they want this on the phone lol :S

Hey do you guys have a bunch of different holds on you solar account? I have 5 different holds: financial response, conduct code, meningitis form, another financial response and health services. They just showed up in the last week so I'm trying to figure out if it means something!
