Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!

Yes I think you got accepted! I think I remember seeing in one of the older threads some of those things randomly popping up. I still have nothing.

I just got an email back from admission office about my question when we will learn admission result and she responded to me actuallt at 730pm such a late time ... and saying that ;

"Currently the office is behind on admissions decisions. Please a expect a decision soon as we are working diligently to get decisions out"

Hopefully we will seee soon something

Hey do you guys have a bunch of different holds on you solar account? I have 5 different holds: financial response, conduct code, meningitis form, another financial response and health services. They just showed up in the last week so I'm trying to figure out if it means something!

Hi Nkainzbauer,

I saw about selective service database and I could not view detail related problem and I called them . So I sent documents which they need and solve problem , I beleive you need to provide them additional documents so I would suggest you to call and find out what they need from you ..

Hi guys! I'm in the same boat with stony brook...waiting to hear about the Post Master's Certificate Adult NP program. Latest word is within the next 2 weeks. It is driving me mad! Trying to figure out summer plans with family and work, etc. Everything on hold for now. Good luck to everyone!

Same here. I can't make plans before hear that result. I will need to move and bla bla if I get accepted .. Ugh

I e-mailed the administrative assistant last night and she replied this morning. Here is her reply:

Applicants will be informed of their status over the next week or so.

If you need to make plans for work, orientation is May 14 and 15 ( students will only attend one day but groups are not yet made up), and the program begins on May 28.

This is for the online NP post masters program. At least I won't have to move! That is a lot to have on your plate.
