Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!
@kjm84If you read my posts I got to do about selective service and idk after asked them by email didnt get any respond. So I am thinking I may get accepted:)) being male and from other country make me think positive :)
The selective service thing is weird, seems like they wouldn't need additional info from you for such a thing unless you were accepted. It's definitely helpful to be male and from another country for SB. When I was rejected to the basic BSN program, I asked for a reason and was told to keep in my mind that they try to have a very diverse student population. Not sure how fair that is either though, should be based off the candidate not where they're from or their gender. I guess they have so many applicants they have to differentiate people somehow. Anyway, definitely stay positive, crossing my fingers that you get in and find out sooner then later. :). That wait can be very stressful.
