Stony Brook Nursing Basic BSN Fall 2013 applicants

Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!

Has anyone applied to Binghamton also? I'm still waiting for them too! It's driving me crazy

Well it's 4 year but... I have my bachelors already so they are taking courses from my bachelors and applying so I will not need to take them over again... 96 of my credits transfer so it will cut the 4 years down and take approx. 2 years for my BSN.. Stony brook is closer to me driving wise, but man are they taking long to let us know :(

I think you should def keep your spot at that school since you will need only 2 year to study and transfer your credit.

Hey! Just subscribed after reading all the comments, been waiting and waiting on ALL my schools! Did not get into the 12 month program at SBU however keeping my fingers crossed for the 2 year!!! However I do not see any holds!

For you guys waiting may not good and ignoring other school. Cos I am already in nursing program AS degree. But I don't wanna study 4 yr again while I already have bachelor degree.

My school never had the deposit system .. Is it big amount of $ the deposit ? I mean if you not going to there ..

Suffolk program was 100 and molloy is 100 but Suffolk was my back up plan Incase I didn't get into molloy or stony brook so it is money that I am loosing but is rather have the options ... I told Suffolk def not so they can give my spot away since I got into molloy but not I am just waiting for Sb
