Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!

I know! I was really turned off from nyu after reading all the posts. Thank God for this website because nyu is too much money to not love the program

I went to the School of Nursing today and was able to talk to one of the admissions committee members. She said they are just finalizing everything, but I believe they have picked out the majority of the people who they want. She said they will send us the emails by mid-late April. This wait is killing me!!

Does anyone know where one can find statistics on the applicant pools to the nursing program from the last few years? Such as no. of applicants, avg. gpa, etc....

To anyone that has applied to NYU, please call admissions and make sure they have received all your documents. I sent mine in over a month ago, in one package and they ended up losing my transcripts that I had to pay to order and pay to send out! I'm very disappointed. So just double check!!
