Hey, at least you have parking permits....We just have to fend for ourselves with parking, and somedays you're lucky if you can park within sight of the main campus. Of course, with my plain white clinical uniform, I already look a little frumpy.....LOL

i must agree that if something as small as a pink parking pass has your undies in a bunch you are in for a shock when you actaully start school. you make it sound like the whole town will be pointing at you and staring at your little pink parking pass.....trust me, i doubt you are that important. i happen to think men who wear pink shirts are sexy and shows they are secure in who they are. we had a really hot young guy in my orientation for my current job and he wore blue jeans with a nice pink polo shirt and i don't think there was one woman in our group that didn't comment on how good he looked. trust me, there are bigger things to worry about in the world than the color of your parking pass!! you could be driving around in a pink car!!!

Dont have to worry about pink parking permits..I think if your school required you to wear pink scrubs and pants as the school colors in clinical, you should be more worried about that..

Yeah, mine's pink too. Picked it up from ACC last week

Pink is merely a COLOR..and there are many situations you will encounter that are a LOT MORE uncomfortable ...for you and your patient. What kind of "flack" are you going to get from "the guys" the 1st time you catherterize a male patient?
( with the maturity level y'all are showing about a parking tag, They'll probably hoot and holler about and slap you on the back when you do a female cath...)

"burnt orange" ??! gack.. who thought up that color....???

Hey Tweety, my house is pink too, but not by my choice..
When we built, I picked out a nice gray/white/black variegated brick. Husband wanted some red brick...chose another one. I gave in.

That was the last time he got to make ANY decorating decisions!

:wink2: Hey everyone, thanks for all the input! I didn't think that everyone would take this so serious. I was simply trying to point out some of the irony in this situation, and to see if any other "guys" had experienced a similar instance. Just something so other guys could vent about ironic experiences that maybe they have kept under their breath.:wink2:

You have to be wary of those pink and magenta colored parking passes. They have a habit of making guys gay or worse-- you might wake up feeling transgendered. Just wait until you get your regalia for nursing school-- the academic color for nursing is apricot, which is basically a gay form of orange. I think you are doomed at this point.
