Wow! I am making $15 an hour for LPN in Florida. I guess Louisiana pays even worse.

As a Texas Paramedic I get $20 hour plus overtime and great benefits.

Ogopogo, I'm so happy to see that info! I'm in BC working as a care aid but am doing my LPN in the fall...so nice to see such good numbers!

I would like to know too. I almost had an interview for a nursing home for a va place in Sandusky, but could never get a hold of the lady to set it up. I heard there was one up in MI, but not sure about an assisted living facility. I wish I could find one that is hiring not too far away as I like working in assisted living. Just wish I could find a place that pays a little better and has some decent benefits...
