Knoxville area, new grad LTC $15 3-11

Tell me about it, I only make about 14 at an assisted living center. There are a few nursing homes that might pay 15-16 in the area, but that's about tops.

Specializes in Dialysis.

Dallas

-14 months as an LVN

-5 years dialysis experience

-chronic outpatient dialysis clinic (3 of em!)

-19.99/hr with average bennies.

-shift diffs are nominal for the early morning and late evening hours.

-always overtime available.

Could anyone give me info on salaries and job opportunities in San Diego?

Specializes in pediatrics.
Like the other threads about salary I think we need to have:

Area you live - Myrtle Beach, SC

specialty - community health

years of expearience - fresh out of school

level (rn, lvn, etc) - LPN

rate of pay - $14 p/hr

HOURS - 8:30-5:30 m-f all holidays off

I could get much higher pay from other places in this area, but not with the benefits and job satisfaction that I have now. I love my job and thats more important to me. I'd quit a job that paid me $30 an hour that made me miserable or depressed and doubt I'd ever leave the job I'm at now, because I feel so warm and fuzzy when I leave at night.

Exactly,

LPN new grad (pediatric hospital clinic)VA

$15

8:15-4:45 fulltime 8 hour days no weekends no holidays,

8.25 of PTO every 2 weeks, full benefits -$18 in all for dental and health insurance, tuition assistance and LPN-RN transition program, car insurance and home insurance special rates, all types of discounts, and a bonus once a year, to top it off I work with the best team members in the world. Could make more at LTC or nursing home, but I can grow here and my team members cheer me on to better my self......:D

You may want to post a question in the CA section but I am in San Diego and LVNs start at around $21-22 hr. Not very high compared to the COL.
