Ok guys, I just want to essentially take a survey of what people are making in Home Health.

Basically to show the regional disparities and to make sure everyone is getting a fair and equal paycheck at the end of the day.

I don't need specifics such as what company you work for etc...

Just the barebones

1. State (city would be nice)

2. Salary

3. Benefits

4. Perks if any

So to start off:

1. S. Florida

2. $25/visit and $30/weekend visit

3. None

4. None

Specializes in Home Health.
This is interesting... Keep em' coming. I'm curious to know the amount of experience in HH that you have as well. I'm a new grad, wonder if $25 is fair.

This sounds fair if this is an hourly rate, but make sure if you receive mileage, extra pay for SOC ROC revert, also if you have access to educational material it a clinical educator and not just you tube.

Specializes in Surgical/Stepdown, Home Care.

$770 for my first 12 units, $41/unit for each one after. Revisits/wound care are 1 unit, SOC/ROC are 2.5 units. We get paid 45 cents per mile. This is in NJ, and I'm brand new to home care.

Vermont

$40. for visit

$60. for recert

$90 for SOC

I work per diem so no benefits

I never GIVE patients my cell number. They get it from caller ID and keep it.

I never GIVE patients my cell number. They get it from caller ID and keep it.

I prevent this by blocking my number when I call. All it takes is to dial star 67 at the beginning of the number. When I put their number into my contacts list, I always start with star 67.

I don't start until next week. But my agency pays $45 per visit (if you receive benefits, otherwise $58), $85 for commercial SOC/ROC, and $115 for Medicare SOC/ROC.

4. Own schedule, but sometimes drives me crazy to have to schedule SOCs

Need to reach certain number of visits per week to get health insurance so I did not make the cut, only doing a handful of patients a week, whatever referrals I get from the agency. No mileage either

You win!

I've been a nurse for 20 years, RN for 11 with 9 of those in HH. I was just offered a PRN position with LHC for $60 admit OASIS, $57 recert, &42 ROC/DC , $34 specialty & $32 regular visit. I've been told the electronic documentation is tedious and average SOC takes 4 hours total. Considering I've been used to making $30 an hour since I've been out of HH I'm weighing the pro's and con's. I loved patient care but am estimating I'll make $15 to $20 an hour with no benefits. The mileage apparently fluctuates based on gas prices and the device maps out a route for you and pays you based on that and not your actual mileage. Anyone with this company who has any advice?
