Ok guys, I just want to essentially take a survey of what people are making in Home Health.

Basically to show the regional disparities and to make sure everyone is getting a fair and equal paycheck at the end of the day.

I don't need specifics such as what company you work for etc...

Just the barebones

1. State (city would be nice)

2. Salary

3. Benefits

4. Perks if any

So to start off:

1. S. Florida

2. $25/visit and $30/weekend visit

3. None

4. None

Specializes in NICU, PICU, Transport, L&D, Hospice.

Varies: 30 for reg visit, 60 for SOC... .42 cents per mile

0 benefits

Flexible scheduling (more time for my kids!)

Perks-- they supply all of our equipment. I sure would like a cell phone though... (pretty annoying to receive patient calls while eating dinner or out with hubby)

If you don't have a company phone why do you give the patient your phone number?

Curious.

How long does it take you to complete a wound-vac visit including documentation? How about a SOC? Just out of curiosity I am wondering what your pay works out to in $/hr.

Wound vac usually 1hr, sometime more for multiple wound vac.

SOC 2.5 hrs

So you make right around $14/hr?

And pay for your own mileage and automobile maintenance?

With no benefits.

That seems really really low to me.

And I notice from another thread that you are wondering if you should purchase patient supplies yourself???

I am getting concerned.

Yes I know, I'm not at all happy with this situation.

As you know im in the process of making my footprint, and then I can have better leverage, but I am acutely aware that I'm being screwed.

Yes I know its absurd, I just made 6 months experience ( i know most agencies want 1 year), I am now looking for a new home care provider to work for.

Boston mass

75 bucks for a 1 hr visit

per diem no, no minimum shifts per month

perks are...well 75 bucks

mostly non nursing companionship but they *want a nurse

Just hired

Boston

$25/hr 40 hrs a week. $38/visit during the weekend.

Health insurance after 90 days probationary period. Not sure how much it would cost me.

Perks... I will wait and see after my 90 days.

Colorado:

1. Southern area

2) $21.50/hr (RN). Currently PT/PRN.

3) No benefits, drive reimbursement, etc.

4) No perks, other than we work shifts with one family, instead of many.

This is interesting... Keep em' coming. I'm curious to know the amount of experience in HH that you have as well. I'm a new grad, wonder if $25 is fair.
