Ok guys, I just want to essentially take a survey of what people are making in Home Health.

Basically to show the regional disparities and to make sure everyone is getting a fair and equal paycheck at the end of the day.

I don't need specifics such as what company you work for etc...

Just the barebones

I'm in NY. I get paid $25 for anything telephonic, $55 for IVs, teachings, and SOC, $45 weekly visits, $75 pumps and diabetics, $150 for PICCS. I'm also per diem so I get paid per visit. No benefits but my company offers a lot of CEUs. All of my patients are pregnant so I get to see their babies after they give birth. That's a personal perk for me because I love babies. Plus even though I'm per diem, one patient guarantees me at least 5 months of work because that's how long we follow up with patients. And I do make my own schedule but this is my second job so it's not easy to fit 10 weekly patients into my schedule.

Yes I know its absurd, I just made 6 months experience ( i know most agencies want 1 year), I am now looking for a new home care provider to work for.

be careful. my agency made us sign something said after leave this company, can not go to other hh in one year and can not take pts away and some BS like that. and i believe they will try to get you if they can.

I'm an LVN in Los Angeles County. I'm paid

$50 for successful blood withdrawal or IV start

$40 for IV maintenance or PICC line flush

$40 for wound care visit (wound vac only)

$33 for wound care visit (non wound vac)

$33 for office meetings and in-service Plus FOOD!

$25 for pt teaching or medication reconciliation

$25 for chart review (I review charts of other nurses and request orders from doctors etc.)

$20 for non-successful blood withdrawal or IV start

NON-Stacked. Meaning I could be called out to flush a picc line, change a wound vac and do medication reconciliation on the same pt and it would still only be $40.

PLUS, I am required to work 1 or 2 (24) hour call shift per month where I am paid $15 per hour plus double whatever I get called to do. (My coverage area is anything from Newport beach to Glendale...about 50 miles 0_o.) So If I'm called to Glendale to change a wound vac at 2am I get $80

I am a 1099/Per-Diem worker so I get paid zero benefits. They do have full time and part time positions open but there are non-open right now I do not get paid mileage but our office does "cluster" bookings which means all of the pt's I see that day are within 10 mile radius.

I set my own schedule and my "cluster" is 7 miles from my house so I'm able to drop my daughter off at school at 7:45, see my first pt by 8am and be back to pick her up by 1pm.

I LOVE MY JOB!

Wow, I'm out of the loop. I just started. 45/visit, per diem, no gas reimbursement, no benefits, no CAR/Computer. Couple bucks more

for initial assessment. I don't have HH exp either, I'm not sure if I'm being duped but wanted to learn

OASIS and more about HH and case management so I'm trying the HH side of things for experience.

2. $26/hr, straight -been a RN for 8 yrs - no difference between types of visits. I've gone to perdiem, and you're supposed to work 1 wkend a month.

3. 0.45 per mile. Benefits when I was FT were ludicrously expensive, $900/mth for my family's health care, with a huge deductible.

4. I do get a blackberry (which I hate). Absolutely nothing else. They really don't show a lot of appreciation for their nurses and they have a lot of turnover.

For the posters who didn't know what SOC was, you can go to www.cms.gov and type in OASIS, and it will take you step by step on OASIS. In Texas, there are seminars everywhere that you can go to for OASIS training as well.

oregon, hourly rate 32.78, $.56 per mile, overtime after 8 hours. shift differential. Medical, dental, life, disability, 50% off of copay after insurance pays if service recieved at hospital I am employed at. 4% into 457b by employer. $.50 for every dollar into 403b that i contribute. seems like I got it pretty good. approx 8 hours pto each 2 weeks plus 1 hour esl

$65 for routine RN visits, $100 for SOC, ROC, $50 an hour for office, meetings etc.

I am per diem. No benefits or perks.

.40 a mile.

I negotiated strong when I first got hired.
