Lets talk about $$$

Ok guys, I just want to essentially take a survey of what people are making in Home Health.

Basically to show the regional disparities and to make sure everyone is getting a fair and equal paycheck at the end of the day.

I don't need specifics such as what company you work for etc...

Just the barebones

1. State (city would be nice)

2. Salary

3. Benefits

4. Perks if any

So to start off:

1. S. Florida

2. $25/visit and $30/weekend visit

3. None

4. None

1. State (city would be nice) :

Northern California/Not Bay Area

2. Salary

SOC $130

Revisits $65 with differentials for IV/Vacs, Resumes, Recerts, Discharges

$42/hr for PTO and meetings

$50/night on call, mostly phone calls, occasional visit for Foley for retention, but I've been giving my call to a part time nurse.

Additional hourly pay for ride alongs and orientation of new staff

3. Benefits

Not such great medical but doable (has been down graded).

401K but no match

Almost 4 weeks PTO (after my 5th year) and 4 hrs/month sick accrual

4. Perks if any

Flex Schedule

Mileage..not sure of the current rate but mid .40's

Work from home whenever I'm organized enough to pull it off

I see my own patients, I admit them and make the follow up visits

I work in the community I live in

Fantastic team. Fantastic administrator and director. (Gonna hug my admin after reading some of these wages and expectations)

No minimum visit requirements but my average has been 6 revisits or 1 admit/5 revisits or some equivalent combo of visits. (But just launched EMR so things are wonky and have had my load reduced and paid hourly while we adjust)

Love what I do.

Someone asked about experience..I have years in home health. Have worked in management and QI. Returned to work 7 yrs atom after being a SAHM, went back to patient care as a case manager.

I accidentally hit a button and it won't let me delete

Is this for home health kieran?

No it was a mistake, sorry!

I thought that was a little high for home health! If you do a search, maybe on the word "salary", I am sure you can find threads on wages in other areas of nursing.

Chicago

$65 Visits ($55 if only physical exam w/o compx interventions)

$95 SOC and ROC Weekday

$150 SOC and ROC Weekend/holiday/nights

$0.56/mile

$50 per mo phone

$28/hr for office meetings/training

Health insurance optional in exchange for min # visits

Specializes in Home Health.

We're in that region and we don't start out anyone that low but I've heard off agencies that do. $110 is more of a starting point.

Hi, I know this post is from several years ago, but I'm curious to know what agency you work/worked for? I work in the Boston area and just went per diem or per visit and it's only $35 per revisit and not sure about the rest but don't think it's as much. Also, no benifits and not even sure if I will get mileage reimbursement doing per visit which is same asper diem. Would you mind telling me more and what agency. Thank you.

I realize your post was from 2 years ago, but would you mind telling me who what agency you were/are with. I'm in the Boston area and I'm looking to work for a different agency. Thank you.

although this post was over 3 years ago, I was hoping you could tell me what agency this is for? I live in the Boston area and am looking to work for a diffierent agency.
