I am a freshman nursing student and in my A and P class we have to learn the 12 cranial nerves. I know that there are a couple little sayings out there to help remember them but I do not remember all of the one I heard before. I know the one was a little sick, but I don't care if it helps me to remember them. I would be very appreciative if someone would reply in the forum or in email if anyone knows what I am talking about or where I could find the sayings.

Thank you very much.

Colleen, LOL! I haven't heard that one before. Too much. We just learned On Old Olympus Towering Top A Finn and German Viewed Some Hop. We learned another one in A&P but I forget it already. There's a lot of them out there, whichever one sticks is the one you should use.

We were taught the Oh, Oh, Oh, to touch and feel a girls lady parts, ahhh, heaven also. And let me tell you I took A&P two years ago and I can still remember that. It works!

I told some of the people in my class, they all looked at me like I was crazy. But, I have heard this from more experienced Student Nurses who had to memorize them years ago, and to this day, they still remember them!

Our A & P professor taught us a clean version in class and then after class, taught us "Oh, Oh, Oh, To Touch and Feel A Virgin Girl's Hips And lady parts" ....it worked GREAT!!! Someone even got a 98% on our Neurology exam.

Yep that is how I learned them as well!

There is also another one to remember if they are sensory, motor or both. I will have to try and find that for her as well.

Marilyn

I leaned it the same way...On old olympus...worked for me
