I am a freshman nursing student and in my A and P class we have to learn the 12 cranial nerves. I know that there are a couple little sayings out there to help remember them but I do not remember all of the one I heard before. I know the one was a little sick, but I don't care if it helps me to remember them. I would be very appreciative if someone would reply in the forum or in email if anyone knows what I am talking about or where I could find the sayings.
Thank you very much.
My anatomy professor was kind enough to give us one that the girls would like, and one that the girls would like. One of them is the racy one that several people have mentioned. The other, and the one that I used was: Oh, Oh, Oh, to touch and feel a guys viagra activated hard-on
We also had to learn which nerves were sensory, motor or mixed, and the pneumonic for that one was: Some say my mother bought my brother some bad beer, my, my. S=sensory, M=motor, and b=both
Good luck, and I hope that it helps
Never heard that saying while I was doing A&P, but now that I have, I don't think I will ever forget the cranial nerves again.
(oh oh oh to touch and feel a girl's ...............................!!!!!!) Hard to forget this one.
The one I learned for sensory, motor, or both is,
Some say marry money but my brother says bogus bimbos marry money. B.T.H
I just had my exam on Neuro. Remember, Acustic- you can do the Romberg test. Facial- Bells palsey.
Just 2 questions I've had, that threw me for a loop, I hope that help's alittle.
I'm also in my last semester "51 days left!" yeah I'm counting..lol
my brain is also burnt to a crisp :)
Can't wait to spread my wing's!

This might sound stupid but it worked for me when I was taking boards many years ago. Write them all down and then find a song you can sing them to, or make one up. I have used this method many times to help me remember certain things and you know what, once you make a song out of it, you'll never forget it. To this day I still remember the little songs we made up to remember certain things.....just a thought.
