wow!!! i am a nurse!!!
had my recognition ceremony on friday night, it was very nice the teacher we have had for med/surg and one that taught me so much was who pinned us. we were handed lamps from our teacher who taught us fundamentals and then ended up doing clinicals with us second sememster so we had her longer than any other teacher. she was very teary eyed. my grandson yelled maw maw yeah!! when i was pinned. of course he was adorable. we had three guys in our class and all 3 spoke one did the opening, one did the speech, and one did the closing and benediction. they were all great but the ending was killer, he had us all crying or at least lumps in throats. i couldn't even remember it all until about sunday because it was such a blurr. i think when you work so hard for something and then it comes to be you feel like you are in a dream. just had to share and remember where ever you are in your program and whether it is lpn, adn, bsn or any other it does end and you will be a nurse
