Juris Doctor-- otherwise known as law degree.

If they took their bar exam (and passed), they're an attorney.

Are you talking about Dr. Mann? She has a law degree; she is a nurse midwife and a great instructor. She can explain a lot of the history about midwives and how they were viewed in the past. A great educator!

Maybe she's not who you're talking about.. but I think you go to SJSU?!?

You are correct! It was back to school today. Spring semester finally started, hopefully my last "free semester" before nursing classes.
