that song that bashes nurses

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Did you all notice there is a pop song (god forbid I actually remember the name of it or who sings it) that came out a month or two ago. And part of the chorus goes like this

Can't stay on your life support, there's a shortage in the switch

Can't stay on your morphine cuz it's making me itch

I tried to call the nurse again, but she's being a little bytch.

Jus wondering what you all think? Up till now I think we had been spared trashing by the music genre, but i guess things have changed...lol

I'm not saying they shouldn't have freedom to write what they want and it does have a catchy little tune and phrase.. but c'mon... would it kill someone somewhere to just say something nice about us???

l have been called a bi+ch several time in my career...by drunks, drug seekers and the like....makes me no nevermind.........LR

I haven't heard it. Pappy and I could hang together in moldy oldy land.

I just don't get the uproar. It gives me a headache.

And way to go, Mattigan. It took me forever to learn the stuff around here, too...

And uh, Pappy? You seem to be under the misguided impression that men can't be b!tches. I have a few friends to introduce you to.

:p

pappy, if you just want to be one it goes like this:

babe

!n

total

control of

him/herself

some people say it like it's a bad thing. :D

Ahh Delerium, you beat me to it! I know plenty of beeatch nurses. Anyhoo, the song is about being in a bad relationship, not about nurse hating. Sheesh!

LasvegasRN and Pappy, I haven't heard it either. Damn, I hate being out of the loop. I don't care if someone called Pink calls me a b*tch. I hate that she does it and makes more money than me!!

Holy moly... I didn't mean to give the impression that I was personally offended, since I'm not. I, too, like the song as I said. I was just pointing out that before this we were absent in the music genre as far as I had noticed. So... I am over it...lol And generally when the drunks/a-holes call me a bytch, I usually say, yes I am thanks for noticing! LOL

i haven't heard the song. i don't listen to music with all that cursing/profanity in it. if i hear a curse word repeated and depending on the contents of the song as well, i turn it off or tune it out.

CALM DOWN!!! She is talking about ME!!!

ahhhhhhhhh..it's so nice to be famous :D

The first time I heard it I thought I heard them say the nurse was being a b#^ch, so I listened closer the second time and realized that the nurse they were calling a b#^ch was just doing her job and it made me smile. Haa, take that you MS04 seeking addict, see if you get your fix or drug sooner than it's due. Tee hee hee hee!:roll

LMAO flowerchild!
