How often do nurses have sex in the hospital?

I read on the forum that while it's forbidden for a nurse to have sex with their patient, I haven't seen anything about having sex with other nurses, doctors, visitors, etc. Does it actually happen as often as it does on TV shows? Not asking whether it's wrong or not, just whether it happens.

I count myself fortunate if I get a chance to pee and eat at work! And, frankly, neither my co-workers nor my clients are particularly attractive. I've never come close to having any kind of sexual liaison at work. I've never even been aware of any co-workers "indulging." (Plenty of them have gotten involved with co-workers and the occasional client, but they managed to restrain themselves while actually on duty, as far as I know.)

I know of one female nurse who um, had some meetings with a male nurse and the one male doctor (not at the same time) and she was interested in another doctor... This was years ago... I have never heard of any other instances. I don't think anything happened during work hours, though. So I guess that doesn't count. But doesn't that happen in every profession? Affairs, hook ups, relationships, etc. I think a lot of people meet at work and then start a relationship outside of work. I have never seen or heard of anyone actually getting it on in the hospital though.

I think it's time for you to stop watching shows like ER, House, Hawthorne, Nurse Jackie and Grey's anatomy.

I have very little time to eat and pee let alone make out with the hot male resident sitting next to me when I'm charting...

I've been on this site for a couple of months and asked many legitimate questions! I didn't find a similar thread so I made one, is that a crime now?

I've heard of nurses getting screwed at work.

It's usually when management gives you too many patients when management couldn't be bothered to find a replacement for someone who has called off.

You have HOT MALE RESIDENTS sitting NEXT to you while charting?

I don't know which is the bigger pipe dream a HOT male resident, sitting at work, or getting time to chart.

In all my time as a patient tech I never saw any nurse/nurse ,nurse/doctor, or nurse/patient hookups....but several times in neuro behav caught patients in the act after hooking up with other pateints, or gf/bf visiting them. Maybe its just me, maybe Im a germaphobe as heart but I would rather be amorous in a trash strewn alley before I would want to in a hospital....makes me wilt just thinking about all the bugs you can pick up in a hospital. I have no problem working in one, but thats it.

Working in a clinic, several docs have hooked up with nurses and even lost their jobs over it. One doc has the occasional daliance with a secretary or a pt, gets his hand slapped and back in business! Sadly, I have no personal experience to speak of, but keep your fingers crossed for me! :)
