Ode to the life-long learner

I admit that I love school

It really isn't that cool

I could paper all my walls

with diplomas (four in all)

It started back in 12th grade

with the good grades that I made

so then I went on to college

to get a bit more knowledge

I thought it would be a disaster

when I started on my masters

but even more I learned

so an MPH I've earned

my letters are impressive

you might think I'm a bit obsessive

and they thought I was berserk

but I hadn't finished my work

So back to school again

to get a BSN(RN)

I needed more time at the bar

it was the hardest degree by far

It's been a long journey to here

and I'll go back in a few more years

Academia is my friend

I'll be a student 'till the end

Passing out nebs,

Like some sort of candy,

Oh what the Hell, lets just call it snot,

Called to the ED for a concious sedation,

When it occurs to me, I need a vacation!

Working all night 7P - 7A,

like an all out affliction,

Thank god for DVR can watch LOST when I want,
