Is it OK in your opinion for a male nurse to have an earring in while at work?

If it's ok for the girls, it's ok for the boys!! Most of the earrings I have seen on men have been very small and discreet ... perfectly ok as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry....I don't care for men wearing earrings in ANY setting, so I voted no.

Yes, why not? Even two. Even a nose ring. As long as he can do his job, what do I care?

Man, don't we have other things to concern ourselves with then what jewelry someone wears to work?

of course OK, as long as it's allowed within facility policy and men & women are held to the same standard.

Yes..an earring to go with the chest hair and gold chain is perfectly ok with me!

Seriously..none of these bother me except it may not be considered professional by some.

I don't care for males wearing ear-rings either.

But I voted yes, because the question was "is it o.k. for them to wear them..." not what I personally think about men wearing ear rings.

A little ear piercing, nose, or eyebrow is fine... no big deal in my book.

Some patients may object to this, I, as a patient, would not.

Very very few men can pull off the earring look. I'd be really careful.

But I voted yes. Fair is fair.

Just as long as it's not one...One earing is soo 80's...no really I don't care. What's good for the gander is good for the goose (wait is that the right saying)

I agree with Steph on this one though...just cuz it may be allowed doesn't mean you can pull it off...proceed with caution.

:chuckleJudging by that avatar Joanne...I guess you don't have a problem with piercings:chuckle
