I turned off my "like" notifications yesterday. I forgot that I turned them off. All day today, every time I logged in, I was mildly disappointed that I had no "like"s. Then I remembered that I turned off notifications.
I have turned them back on. I guess I need that validation.

I didn't even realize there was a notification for those. :) I'm still navigating through the differences between the mobile and regular sites.

I like likes. I enjoy seeing if people liked my comments. I like liking good comments by others.

I like likes too. Kinda' makes my day to log on to AN and see likes for something I posted, and I like giving likes too :)

There should be a "dislike" button, too. Can you imagine how much fun it'd make the popcorn-threads?

I'm trying to figure out how to like things from my phone. Can't figure out what button to push.

I like getting "likes" too. It makes my day to see someone "liked" what I wrote. If I make one nurse feel better after a bad shift, I have done my job. :) I also like giving them too.
I think klone is clearly trolling for more likes. :)

Me too! I hope someday we'll get a "you're a dweeb" or a "Really?" button. The little gray zero in the corner isn't as impactful to insensitive posters as I'd like it to be sometimes.

But that would be being mean to individual posters and the fun threads would be shut down even faster than they already are. But the fun that would ensue with stuff like, "You're only disliking my post because you're an ugly old biter nurse that's jealous of me!"
It's the "thank" button. If you touch the top of the post, it will show up.
