Life Can Really Sux

I leave home early today to go to a book store on the other end of the island. I drive along the ocean, glancing at the crystal blue water forming into 5-6 foot waves. I look out my other window at the mountains. All in all, it's a nice drive into Honolulu. I purchase $168 worth of books and as I'm placing them into my car trunk, I look out over the ocean in the distance, then up at the full moon and lazy clouds being blown across the sky by the trade winds. I think momentarily about my life and some goals that I plan to get started on asap. Then, damn, it hits me:

I

gotta

pee

so

bad!

Thats something i can relate to...only, my day was more like this:

I woke up early to head downtown...it's overcast and drizzling. On an average day it'd take like 45 minutes or so to get to my destination, but it's nearing am rush-hour..traffic is nearly stopped...my fuel guage's nearly on 'E'. In the distance, the Sears tower is pretty impressive, but the older buildings along the street i'm on (stoney island) are less impressive...run-down even. An elderly homeless guy's huddled in an entranceway apparently asleep. Two others are standing near him sipping from a brown-bagged bottle. My gas-light come on...and i start to sweat because traffic sucks...people blowing horns. Luckily, 15 minutes (2 blocks) later i arrive at a gas station for a fill-up. I'm approached by a dirty-looking boney lady who's missing most of her teeth...she wants a 'quarter'...and i ignore her. When i finally arrive at my destination i drive around the parking garage for 10 minutes because it's nearly full to capacity...sweating again because i'm late. When i exit the garage i glance up at the sun..only it's not there..only grey overcast and drizzle...i'm late...almost step in a mud-filled pothole (talk about waves!)...and i gotta pee :)

A day later i log-on to the http://www...read the title of this post ('life can sux')...open it up..and find myself pretty darn envious. ..Or am i just feeling like the weather?

I take 40mg. of Lasix every day, so I've ALWAYS gotta pee. I think I could live with that much[/] more happily if I were in your neck of the woods, Zenman! :chuckle
