I just wanted to post a quick unofficial Poll as to who you will be voting for in the US Election.

This thread was only intended to be a poll. Not a political discussion. Feel Free to reply with your choice if you want, but please no political arguments, slams or jabs :) Lets keep this a clean and simple poll ;)

I just thought that it would be interesting to find out where all the AN'ers fall and see if we are consistent with other polls out there?

I'll be interested too - but I'm pretty sure from my time here on allnurses that most members lean left. (Not starting a political discussion though:clown:)

Thanks for the poll Brian.

I agree with Steph. Quite a few of the regular members on this site have the tendency to support the Democratic ticket based on my observations over in the US Politics forum.

I was gonna say that I'm surprised how close the current results are at 55-45. Then I saw how few had voted so far. I'm sure higher turnout will move those numbers. . .

Just because more active posters or regulars may seem to lean one way or the other, does not mean that the whole membership would vote a certain way ;) It will be fun to see how the results will come out in the end.

No matter which way you vote, I hope everyone does go out and vote tomorrow. I hate to hear people say they didn't vote or their vote won't matter. Voting is a great way to influence the direction of your country.

I wish my state had early voting. I've had this growing this paranoid feeling that something is going to happen tomorrow to prevent me voting. That worries me. I will feel relieved once my vote is cast.

I will proudly cast my vote for Ralph Nader tomorrow in one of the 49 states where we are able to cast such a vote. Thanks Ralph for all that hard work!!:yeah:

By the way, there are at least 6 presidential candidates, most of whom are not "independent". Perhaps the poll could include other parties/contestants?
