"I can't come in to work b/c I have anal glaucoma."

"What is that?"

"anal glaucoma...I can't see my butt coming to work"

We actually had a nurse call in "tired". "I'm going to sleep for a few hours and then come in after I'm rested."

Gee, I'd call in every day if I could set my hours based on my fatigue level. :)
