Seeing as it's almost time for the start of the August 2014 intake applications, I figured it apt to start this thread now. :D

This will be my second time applying (applied previously for august 2013).

Currently working on finish my second A&P course and will be finishing my undergraduate degree next semester!

Let the waiting begin~ :)

Thanks Cesh, I'll just email my marks and then send the transcript when it comes. Good luck on your final!! :D

My friend sent them an attachment through email and she called them after to ask if the letter was enough or if they still needed the transcript.

Liquoricetea, for LIBS 7002, do you actually need the book? The bookstore says its optional, but I know you bought one from craigslist, so I dont know if I should! :p

Cesh, yes I did use the book quite a bit, I'm surprised they marked it as optional! Every week we had to read a chapter or 2, then we had to answer some questions relating to the readings. Maybe if the course is taken in person the topics would be covered in class so you might not need it? For the online version of the course, there isn't much content posted online, it's all in the book. Maybe it depends on the instructor?? Do you know who yours is yet?

Liquoricetea, I have ****** ******. I should probably e-mail him and ask, but i'll just keep looking on craigslist for now! Thank you!!:)

Oops!haha, Liquoricetea, I found used books for both libs 7001 and 7002! Thanks again for your help:)

Hi I have been quietly following the forum but I thought I should let others know that I just found out I got accepted!!! :) I hope you all get good news too!!!

Stephara: Congrats!!! Did you complete the short list questionnaire already? When did you submit your application?

i guess the rest of the short list emails have gone out as I've just received mine. :)

Congrats stephara!! I have just been short-listed! The on-line questionnaire is open from May 2 to 8th. I hope I do well on it!

Oh and what did you apply with stephara, if you don't mind me asking? :)

I wonder how many people were short listed in the second round and how many seats are left since they sent out acceptance letters to those from the first round of short list already.

I completed my short-list questionnaire at the beginning of April! And congrats on being short-listed :)

I'm honestly surprised that I got accepted because I was about 55 credits into my science degree at SFU; but I did have a high GPA. I also have extensive volunteer work in the health care field but not much professional experience. I did not think my application was that strong (compared to what others in this forum have been applying with!) and I also thought I did not do well on the questionnaire :p So be confident in yourselves that you'll get in too!
