Hang in there everyone~ You've made it so far, its the home stretch now! I understand how anxious this waiting can be, but soon you'll be embarking on your nursing career. :) I'm just finishing up my level one at BCIT and time has seriously flown by. It's finals week soon so it's been hectic. You guys have honestly picked the best nursing program in BC. Hope you all get some good news soon!

Congrats to all those short listed and offered conditional acceptance!!! I also got offered conditional acceptance!! So overwhelmed and excited to meet everyone!!! I think I didn't need to do the shortlist questionnaire as this wasn't my first time applying so they already have my questionnaire answers from the last time.

For the last intake. We could send in our midterm grades with the app and then later on just send them the final grades within a second deadline they give you for it. You could email or call admissions to be sure.

Thanks, you too! If you aren't sure whether your final grades will make it in time, fill out the midterm grades form and ask your TRU instructor to sign it and just send in the final grades when you get them. That way you won't have to worry about making the Oct 1st deadline. For the shortlist questionnaire in the last intake, it was done online and it was only open for about a one week window. And once you open it, you only had a set time to finish it so you can't work on it throughout the week and save and go back to it.

After the application deadline, the selection committee will review all the applicants and then select a bunch to be shortlisted. Those who are shortlisted will have to fill out another form online by a deadline and the final applicants will be selected from the shortlist group.

This thread is quite quiet this intake! The application deadline is looming up on us. I just handed in my application. Phew. One thing off my chest now that that's done. Let the waiting begin~

I've always e-mailed them as there's no direct phone number to call that I know of. I'm planning on contacting them some time next week to inquire about my status. If you get a reply from them, please let me know if they were willing to share your ranking. Hm, that would be a bit of a rush for you to start immediately after finals. No time to take a breather!

Yes. I asked and was told on Friday that they haven't ranked the list yet. Maybe they will have it ranked by this week I assume.

Got a message in the myCommunications page for waitlisted applicants. Basically saying if a seat opens up for us 60+ days prior to program start (aug 18), you'll be emailed via myCommunications. If it is less than 60 days before the program starts, then we will get a phone call. I wonder if they have started ranking the waitlist yet

Check your bcit email Lochte. My status didn't change. I just got an email from them containing the wait list info. There are 25 people on the list but they haven't ranked people yet.
