BCIT August 2014 Applicants

Hi chiseen are you applying right away ? I talked to admin and I'm on the same boat I'll be completing my second a&p next semester, but they said they were going to be stricter with the application process & suggested to apply when I actually have my midterm marks. But I feel like that would be such a long wait if I wait until Feb to hand in my application =S My original plan was to apply once I've registered for next semester course (which would be next week) to show some proof I'll be taking the course.

Hi!

I was looking at their page the other day and they have extended the application deadline for the august intake from Dec 15th to April 1st. That should give us ample time to finish our A&P courses.

I'm taking mine online, so I will be able to take the final before the end of semester.

Hey lnguyen!

Are you applying for Aug 2014 intake? I am in the process of applying right now but I'm unsure about some things... except I've been trying to call BCIT Nursing Advising this WHOLE week and haven't been successful in getting through to them.. Must be super busy..

I was originally going to apply for January 2015 but the application deadline was extended this year so now I'm applying for this August! I'm just finishing up the additional info form then I'll be able to send everything in :-)

I tried to call advising as well, I guess this is a very busy time for them. They answered my email within a few days though, maybe try to contact them that way?

Yeah, I just wanted to verify about the supporting documents that we need to upload. Is it just a resume, high school transcript, post-secondary transcript? I wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything!

I don't think that you need to upload a resume, just that "Additional Information for Nursing" form.. Which is basically a resume lol

Yes! I am applying for this Aug intake! I've already handed my transcripts and the 'additional info for nursing' form. They replaced that form with the resumes. This is my third time applying actually. I've applied for the Aug 2013 and Jan 2014 intake so hopefully third times the charm lol.
