Your fave comedian

Nurses Humor

Published

I dont have a joke or anything right now (my last one really bit imo.) But I was wondering....who is your favorite comedian?

I am watching comedy central right now and these people are fuuuuuuunny. Wanda Sikes is on now. I wonder if a nurse-stand up comedian job is possible.

It's gotta be Margaret Cho. That chick is me, I am her. Very funny (and a *bit* raunchy). I highly reccmmend you watch "Notorious CHO" or catch her new show, Revolution when it comes to your town.

Adrie...

saw previews to her shows but never got to actually watch her....she seem a real hoot. As for stand up acts, I think the raunch award goes to Andrew Dice Clay, who is also verry funny. I do however enjoy Gallagher and got to see him live once....went home with some grape jelly and cottage cheese on my clothes for a souviner.......Good ol' Sledge-A-Matic!!!!

I have recently been listening to a Bill Engvall CD on my daily drive from work to help me unwind. He is hilarious! I like a lot of comedians, though -- Margaret Cho, Bill Cosby, Jeff Foxworthy, Lily Tomlin, and numerous others whose names I can't remember.

Margaret Cho, Lily Tomlin, July Brown and Judy Tenuta are my favorites.

I remember seeing Lily Tomlin on SNL years ago. She was dressed-up as a nurse, singing the blues song "St. James' Infermery."

During a break in the singing, she took a mercury thermometer out of one of the musician's mouths, looked at the temp, shook her head and said "Hmmm, mmm, mmm." Then, she shook the thermometer down, put it in her pocket and kept singing. It was pretty funny.

Ive decided Wanda SYkes is my favorite! Ifshe would of gotten up on stage 20 years ago and says what she does today she would of been arrested. She states the truth and makes it oh so funny!

I was watching her last night and she called women "faking it" Time management. Ya just had to see it!

Besides her, I think GWENITH is pretty funny. Where do you find it all? (Gwenith)

Stephen Lynch is my FAVORITE. He does musical-comedy, which I enjoy, and has had his own show on HBO. My runner-up is Margaret Cho, and honorable mention to Jeneane Garofolo. I just love cynics. Oops, Chris Rock. Forgot about him. ;>) And Clay! Man. We need a comedy club out here BAD.

Hiya everyone,

Well my favourite comedian has got to be Billy Connolly.. He is really funny.. Can be a bitty crude at times but not too bad. I laugh every time I see him on telly or on video/dvd etc.. Love his stuff..

For those that haven't heard of him hes a Scot.. which makes sense since I'm in Scotland..

Catch him on video if you can or on a telly special..

Kay(Kaylesh)

I guess I'm still stuck in the past, I still think Dana Carvey and Martin Short are the funniest comedians out there.

Kaylesh, I agree, I LOVE Billy Connolly.........must be my Scotts blood!

Oh! Billy Connolly! I LOVE him! Speaking of international comedians, who is that guy who does the schtick in drag and talks about world politics and history? His name is on the tip of my tongue...shoot! He's so cute (even in drag I think he's hot!) and his comedy is so...high-brow and intelligent. He's smack-on funny. Darn it. I can't remember his name.
