You or your family member is sick and you bring out the stethoscope to see if you can hear abnormal lung or bowel sounds!

- When you first meet someone and tell them you're in nursing school, they tell you their entire medical history and what medications they are taking, and if I believe the medications are effective. (true story! haha.)
- You travel with a bp cuff and stethoscope in your car because people are always asking you to take their blood pressure.
very true

That's so true!
I was so exited I wanted to get my stethoscope, but then I found out that it's included in our tuition, and that we'll be getting it as part of our nursing kit in sem.1...so now I have to wait 'till September! ugh! I know I'll bother everyone once I get it, I'll be listening to everyone heart and lung sounds, including my cats LOL
:lol2:
When you only have the final exam left before you graduate, haven't failed any exams and are in pretty good standing but you still worry about bombing the final and not being able to graduate. Why did I break out the calculator last night to calculate how bad I could fail and still pass???
