my pt has a urine tox screen and it came up pos for benzos, and opiates and ampetamines..... she had a home medications for hydrocodone , xanax and she swears she only took a sudafed 30mg a day or so before....
huh?? has anyone ever heard of this? crazy...
she was in for acting like a crazy woman... she ran nude in a grocery store...
and i don't think it was caused by one sudafed...
tell me what youu think....
has anyone ever heard of sudafed showing up as a amphetamine?
thank you all in advance
some of the cold medications dropped pseuphedine [?] because it was suspected of causing causing stokes and it was being used in the production of crack
are still available otc but you have to present id and sign for them and you are limited in amount that you can buy
however it would take a lot of sudafed to make the sx that you described...
I think that she was probably taking meth and was referring to some of the original ingredients to dampen the severity of what she has done. I suppose that she also took off her clothes to lay down her burdens, but, hey...
hehehe one of the male nurses who had to tackle her in the hospital wanted to get a white horse and called her Lady Godiva....
i love the posted comments i haven't laughed this much in a long time,,
you all are wonderful and i love you:yeah:
The lab running the drug test should be able to determine the source of the positive- they can do some pretty amazing things.
I agree that it would take an extraordinary dose of sudafed to make someone do the "Don't look Ethel!" through the grocery store!
Pretty funny mental picture. Lady Godiva, too.
The once or twice a year I have to buy it, I tell the pharmacist, I only have a small meth labSudafed has pseudoephedrine - an ingredient used in making methamphetamines. This is why cold/allergy meds with pseudoephedrine are now kept behind the pharmacy counter and they practically search you and run a background check on you when you buy it.As to the story about the woman.........too much trouble to speculate.
