Yale GEPN 2018

Published

Hey everyone! Now that applications have been out for a while, has anyone started the process of applying for the Yale GEPN program? I hope that your applications are going well if you have! Also, if there are any current GEPN students that happen across this thread, if you have time, feel free to share your experiences in the program and any tips you may have :) Thanks!

Does anyone know when we will find out if we are accepted or not? Is it some time in February?

Found this in an old email: "Looking ahead even further, we hope to release final admissions decisions no later than March 1, 2018."

Best of luck to those who have interviews this week!! Be confident, be prepared, and be yourself! I'm telling myself if we do those things and its the right place for us, then it will all work out. I'll be interviewing 2/1 and eager to hear about your experiences!

Current students, do you have any concerns with YSN specifically? What do you like the most? Any insight regarding clinical placements, professors, how well the program prepares you, or information about the PMHNP speciality would be appreciated! Thank you in advance! :)

Does anyone know how much the FNP program cost and if the school is giving out scholarships?

Can you expand a little more on what it is like with that commute and the GEPN schedule? How was that for you?

Hi psychnp_2b7,

I am not a current student in the GEPN program. I applied this cycle, but I previously commuted to Southern Connecticut State University via train and then took a shuttle to campus, which was about an hour and fifteen total. I plan to the same if accepted to YSN as long as the train and shuttle schedules coincide with my class schedule. It was very enjoyable and saved me lots of money.

Good luck with your interviews everyone! I'll be there tomorrow for my interview :)

Best of luck to those interviewing this week and next!! I'm looking forward to getting to meet some of you tomorrow :)

When I did my calculations based on the info they had on their website, I got that the program should be

jus about 135,000 considering only tuition

Just finished my interview and enjoyed it very much. From the interview, they told me admit announcements will go out around Feb 16th this year! Good luck to everyone!

Thanks for the update!! Roughly how long did your interview last?
