  1. I'm from Los Angeles! What about you?
  2. To those of you who were waitlisted-I met 2 students who were on the wait list and were then accepted (and now attending)! I don't know about the timeline but I do know you have a chance so don't give up! I'm sure Sandy can give you specific information about deadlines and what not.
  3. Fingers crossed for everyone! Hope good news awaits you all!
  4. Ah I'm PMHNP track too! So unbelievably excited!!
  5. Thank you, @Psychnp2018! Your thorough response is helpful and very much appreciated. Are you in the child or adult track? Any suggestions on how to make the most out of the program and succeed despite the weaknesses? Hope your final semester is going well! You're nearly finished! Congrats!
  6. Best of luck to those who have interviews this week!! Be confident, be prepared, and be yourself! I'm telling myself if we do those things and its the right place for us, then it will all work out. I'll be interviewing 2/1 and eager to hear about your experiences! Current students, do you have any concerns with YSN specifically? What do you like the most? Any insight regarding clinical placements, professors, how well the program prepares you, or information about the PMHNP speciality would be appreciated! Thank you in advance! :)
  7. Congrats to those who got interviews! Mine is scheduled on 2/1 for PMHNP! So excited!!! I'm sorry to all those who didn't get good news. As others have said, this decision doesn't define you or determine your future success as a NP!
  8. I applied to the Psychiatric-Mental Health speciality! Best of luck to everyone!
  9. Hi aprnstudent2018, I emailed Sandra with the same question. It is the one integrated essay for the first 3 questions followed by the 2 short answers (in the same document, but separate from the essay). And yes, I'm struggling with being concise as well. I'm sure we'll manage! Good luck!
  10. Thank you! :)
  11. Thank you, rls2018! One last question-did you receive confirmation from Sandy once your GRE scores and/or transcripts were received? That's great you submitted your app! Best of luck to you!
  12. Hi Yale2020PsychNP - thank you for your advice! One last question-if we received a bad GRE score in one section, do you recommend providing an explanation in the additional upload section of the application?
  13. Hi Yale2020PsychNP! Thank you for joining this thread! I'm applying for GEPN, specifically the psychiatric NP track. You just started this year, correct? What is your first impression of the program so far (e.g., experience in clinicals, course demands, overall structure)? Also, any specific advice regarding the essay and/or CV/resume? Thank you in advance!
  14. Hi all! Does anyone know the official start date of the APNI program? Thanks in advance!
